Has led the development of over 300 emission reduction projects registered across CDM, Gold Standard, VCS, and CCER frameworks.​

  • Zheng Zhao-Ning is a Senior Engineer and PhD graduate of the Institute of Nuclear and New Energy Technology at Tsinghua University, where he specialised in CDM methodology and energy economics modelling under leading CDM expert Professor Liu Deshun. His academic foundation spans hydropower system engineering and regional development planning at Tianjin University, and doctoral research at Tsinghua University's Global Climate Change Research Institute.
  • Since April 2005, Zheng has focused exclusively on the technical development of carbon emission reduction projects. His project portfolio spans hydropower, wind power, biomass power generation, biomass fuel substitution, photovoltaic, blast furnace gas, coke oven gas, dry quenching coke generation, TRT projects, coal mine methane, smelting waste heat recovery, animal manure treatment, landfill gas, and agriculture and forestry carbon sinks.​
  • He has led the development of over 300 emission reduction projects across multiple international and domestic frameworks, including Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), Gold Standard (GS), Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), and China Certified Emission Reductions (CCER). His registered project record includes 270+ CDM projects, 20 GS projects, 32 VCS projects, 2 ICR projects, 43 I-REC projects, and 5 Tigrs projects. He has also achieved 11 successful CCER filings, with 3 CCER emission reductions formally issued.​
  • Zheng has published over 40 papers in domestic and international journals on carbon methodology, energy economics, and climate policy. He currently serves as Chief Technology Officer at Beijing Jingyuan Fenghua Technology Co., Ltd.
